Pattern Hack Frills for the Swing Smock: Shoulder Frill and Hem Frill.
A Quick YouTube Guide can be found HERE
This is a great Pattern Hack to update the Swing Smock. Simply add a frill or several layers of frills to the hem - creating a longer length, new look for a pre-existing pattern. Add shoulder frills at the armhole, which is tantamount to creating a smock with cap sleeves. You can really play around with this hack especially if you use contrasting fabrics, lace, ribbon and/or patterned fabrics. Don't forget, you will need about 150cm: a 75cm length for each armhole of 4 cm wide bias binding when adding sleeve frills. And about 1m - 1.5m of 152 cm wide fabric.
